ARNOLD PALMER’S GRANDSON QUALIFIES FOR U.S. OPEN WITH CADDIE’S IRONS
Tour Pros have the luxury of a tour van and some of the very best club builders in the world at their disposal. When it comes to the U.S. Open qualifier though, such is not the case. Most golfers must stick to what’s in their bag; unless of course, your caddie has your previous set of irons.
Fortunately, the Caddie had the Tour Pro’s hand-me-down irons on hand at the event. The equipment change should come as no surprise as the Tour Pro is Grandson of Arnold Palmer (Mr. Palmer is a self-admitted equipment tinkerer). Mr. Palmer has been a friend of the Lamkin family and a brand ambassador for many years. His Grandson uses Lamkin’s UTx golf grips and shot 66-66-132 to earn himself a trip to the U.S. Open at Chambers Bay.
