What We Stand For
Without feel, the game has no artistry.
No derring-do to try the impossible.
No trusting your hands to pull off something
your mind can’t comprehend.
This is why each design, innovation, and grip technology
we create revolves around inducing a relaxed feel—
so you can get out of your head and into your hands.
We believe if you can feel it, you can do it.
We believe feel is everything.

98 Years of Innovation
For nearly 100 years, Lamkin has remained one of the most trusted brands in golf.
Since 1925
Golf’s original grip manufacturer was established in 1925 when company founder, Elver Lamkin, began crafting premium leather grips in the garage of his suburban Chicago home.
In the 1960’s, under the direction of Elver’s son Robert Lamkin, the company began manufacturing leather and, eventually, rubber grips to provide golfers with a more affordable and consistent-feeling golf grip. Over the next three decades, Lamkin continued to be an industry pioneer with new material, manufacturing and texture innovations that provided players with a functional performance advantage.
Bob Lamkin, Elver’s grandson, has continued the extraordinary legacy that began nearly a century ago with a vast, worldwide expansion that includes customers and factories in every corner of the world.
